Handcrafted Stained Glass

Claire Ellis Glass

Where light becomes art, and glass becomes memory.

Discover Her Story

A Story Told
in Light & Color

Claire Ellis didn't set out to become a stained glass artist — she found her way to it the way light finds its way through colored glass: slowly, beautifully, and with a kind of inevitability that surprises you only in hindsight.

It began with curiosity. A piece of antique glass spotted at a market. A borrowed book. A first cut that went slightly wrong and still somehow looked right. What started as a weekend experiment became an obsession, and that obsession became a craft — painstakingly self-taught, refined piece by piece over years of patient work.

Today, Claire works from her studio creating decorative panels, luminous wall art, and delicate sun catchers — each one a handmade original. She takes on commissioned work for clients who want something made specifically for their space, their story, their light.

She's also a mom, a dreamer, and someone who believes that the most beautiful things take time. No two pieces are ever the same. That, she'll tell you, is the whole point.
